28 years

back together
In 1998, Don Hugo Prado opened a small carnitas shop on Av. Paseo de los Leones, in Cumbres. Twenty-eight years later he is still by the cazo every Thursday through Sunday. Same recipe, same hands.
Some customers came as kids with their parents, then with their partners, and now bring their own children. Others have been quietly disappearing. "Families don't get together on Sundays like they used to", Don Hugo says.
That's exactly why we keep going. We're not a taqueria: we're the excuse to bring people back to the table. Carnitas by the kilo, ready to share with the ones you love.
